Somewhere I heard that some priests are taught, and sometimes use mental techniques to forget confessed sins - I can certainly see how that would reduce the stress of a difficult job responsibility. Is it true?
I don’t know of any who do. The subject never comes up. Most of us hear so many Confessions that we couldn’t remember who said what even if we wanted to. And believe me, we don’t.
