i.e. if someone wanted to start attending and receiving communion at an SSPX church, would they have to go through catechesis and be re-confirmed or somehow received into SSPX, or would being a Catholic be enough? I guess SSPX still believe themselves to be Catholic, so any confirmed Catholic would do.
Does the Catholic Church consider SSPX sacraments to be valid? e.g. if someone was confirmed in SSPX, they wouldn’t have to be confirmed again, if some one was married in SSPX, that would be a valid marriage? Would a returning Catholic who had received any sacraments in SSPX need to go to confession and repent of having taken the sacraments when they were offered illicitly? Is it a mortal sin to receive illicit sacraments from SSPX?
