Do the rosaries I make need to be blessed?

I am learning to make twine-knotted rosaries. Do they need to be blessed by a priest before I give them away?
 
No. Most people understand that this is something they have done themselves when they receive or buy a new sacramental. If you want to avoid confusion, you can simply tell the recipients that the rosaries are not yet blessed.
