Do we worship the Object or this is just a representation of Christ or this is the literal presence of Christ?

The Eucharist isn’t an it but a who, and that person is Jesus. We don’t cease to worship Him even under the appearances of bread and wine.

We worship the Eucharist, becuase the Eucharist IS God. It really doesn’t need to get more complicated than that.

Because it is the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Christ that he gifted to us when he instituted the Eacharist at His Last Supper.

If Jesus said “this is my body” and Jesus is God, what do you think?

Right. He didn’t say “My body is contained herein.”

Still takes a lot of getting used to but yes He is here xx
Do you still struggle with the Real Presence? Someone who once did said they sat in the Adoration chapel and read John 6 frequently and imagined Jesus asking her…‘will you also go away?’

we are worshipping God in the Eucharist.
The Eucharist, as you know, is really Jesus Christ, the real presence of Jesus Christ.
So there fore when we go to adoration or communion, we are worshipping God in the Eucharist.

In a monstrance or in a Tabernacle or in Communion.

It depends on your intent surely?
  1. Do you worship a small piece of unleavened bread - or do you adore Jesus whom you believe to be truly present before you so long as the consecrated bread appears as bread?
  2. And when you worship Jesus do you worship his human body or his person made known to you through his humanity?
