Do we get to ask for forgiveness in Heaven?

When we get to Heaven, do we get to ask God for forgiveness if we died before being able to do so?
 
Dear friend,

Here on earth we have ample opportunities to ask for God’s mercy and forgiveness. Heaven is only for those who have already asked for mercy. Our Lord tells us to always be ready. If we really love Him more than anything, we will be. When He died on the cross, He preferred us to life. The least we can do is live our lives in fidelity to Him.
