Do we have relics of the Virgin Mary?

I have heard that there are so many relics throughout the world that allegedly were part of the Virgin Mary’s body, that when you put them all together it actually makes more than one Mary! Is this true, how do you know, and are Catholics required to believe the claims of every Catholic parish that says they have a relic of Mary?
 
Whoever told you that there are enough relics of the Virgin Mary’s body to make up more than one person obviously does not know Catholicism very well. The Catholic Church has solemnly defined that the Virgin Mary was assumed into heaven, body and soul… which means that there are no parts of her body available to be distributed as relics.
