Do you believe God is Catholic? For lack of a better word, it seems too “small” of a label for GOD.

Well, his Son did Found The Church. I would say that he endorses Catholicism.

Jesus was a Jew; the ultimate Jew. He was the fulfillment of all things Jewish.

And it was John Paul 2 who referred to the Jews as our elder brothers.

The Catholic Church is the body of Christ so yes He is Catholic

I believe that what the Church teaches us about God is without error in her traditional ex officio pronouncements, and that she, as Ignatius of Antioch says, possesses the charism of truth.

I believe that God has granted the church other charisms too, and seeks the salvation of Man, through her ministry. I so believe that all that salvation which there is for man to have, flows from Christ’s Body here on Earth, aka his Church.

Does that make God a Catholic in the same way the pope is Catholic, or I am Catholic? No.

But I think the above is more the point.

There is a sort of union between God and the Catholic Church.

The absent OP and controversial topic combination always bothered me. Not that this is one.

It’s quite on topic. The question most likely pertains to that

It would be spiritually beneficial to believe the reasoning she used in the OP is the motive for the question and not some speculation.
