If actions and words mean anything, do you believe are current President is a Christian? And does he try to live Christian lifestyle?

In American society, “Christian” doesn’t have a standard definition.

But let’s start here—

Obama: claimed to be a Christian, married to only one woman, cheered SSM, said “God bless planned Parenthood “.

Trump: claimed to be Christian, multiple wives, supports the pro-life cause and nominated conservative (ie pro life) judges

I reckon he does about as well as the average Christian in this country, and perhaps better than a good many of his critics.

As Jesus said, let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

We are not to judge the state of another person’s soul. That is for God alone.

He aligns with some Godly values, but is deficient in others.

What about you? Do you think that he’s Christian?

if we can judge him

can we also judge politicians who support

abortion until and now even after birth
contraception
homosexuality
same-sex marriage

or is it not really our job?

I think Trump is a politician. He is a ratings junkie. He is a phony. I think he would say anything to gain a few votes.

Perhaps instead of starting a thread with the intention of demeaning him, it would be better to start a thread praying for him.

Given the OP’s posting history, it would likely be a thread praying for his impeachment. Although I seem to remember there being such a thread once. It got flagged until it shut down. I can’t remember if the OP created it.

This is true of just about all politicians, regardless of what party they belong to or what position they take on the issues. And God loves all of them very much.

If one finds oneself getting bothered by a politician, or any other celebrity, or any other person, on a regular basis, then the best response is to pray for that person and then set the whole thought aside and go do something else. If you disagree with their political positions then you’re free to vote for their opponent or do some kind of activism supporting the opposite position. But constantly going around denigrating someone you don’t like is a dead end.
