It can be intimidation that stops people when they have problems with praying .

To tell someone your God may heal them can be intimidation.

How about you. Does it stop you from praying?

I do pray for people, but mostly without announcing it to them. Sometimes I don’t know them personally, I hear about them from someone that knows them. Sometimes family ask me to pray for someone they know. Once you start doing that, it kind of becomes a habit. You will hear about someone, and remember them in prayer.

I guess this could be a thing. Mostly it’s the feeling of helplessness, but pray anyway. There is so much prayer choices out there to choose from.

I usually do,if they are practicing Christian I’ll tell them I’ll keep them in my prayers.
And usually I’ll not tell my problems to most people unless I know they are going to pray.

Yes, I am now praying for my former SIL, Her husband’s brother divorced me after 10 years of marriage. I have just found out my former BIL just divorced her after 35 years of marriage and both her kids are now out of college and working and are devastated. I haven’t seen her in years but we were once close.

I might pray for others in situations like this but I do so privately without telling them. I will tell someone who I know prays and is a Christian that I will pray for her issues that she tells me when she does because she says she prays for me.

Not a lot , but sometimes.
