I go to church to worship and honor my best friend. To allow Him to come to me in a way that others deny. I go to stand in solidarity with others who believe as I do. I go to church to say thank you. And if in the course of a mass, I gain a deeper and better understanding or insight into the beliefs I hold, wonderful.
