Interesting!! I don’t think I have EVER seen a book on Amazon with such high ratings and so many reviewers. It’s getting basically 5 stars from 200 reviewers.

I was just reading Catherine. I think the writing is far too sublime to come from a person, especially Catherine, who had no formal education.

Fr Phillipe’s “Searching For and Maintaining Peace”

It is always changing as I read new material. Right now it is the Diary of St Faustina. Her experiences with Christ were extraordinary.

introduction to the devout life by francis de sales is great also spiritual combat by Lorenzo scupoli

Introduction to the Devout Life is great. St Francis de Sales has a heart of gold.

I started Spiritual Combat but didn’t finish it… oh the irony 😆

The Baltimore Catechism. A Catholic friend recommended this to me and I have been enjoying it in PDF form. It asks a question and provides an answer. It reminds me a bit of the Book of Proverbs in a way, which is one of my favorite Books in the Bible. 👍

The Imitation of Christ (surprised no one has mentioned this).

and The Story of a Soul by St. Therese of Lisieux

Just getting ready to suggest Imitation of Christ, but I was beaten to it. 😉
