i have a juicer now and would love to hear from those who juice:thumbsup:

we do not have a juice extractor, we have a Vita-Mix, which mixes the fruits or vegetables whole (without any parts that normally are not eaten like peels or seeds) to retain fiber and nutrients. My favorite is “cream” of broccoli soup (non-dairy).
1/2 c each broccoli, cauliflower, canned lima beans
1 stalk celery, 1 green onion, 1 thin slice lemon, 1 boullion cube
mixed with 3 cups hot water, go from low to hi gradually, mix on high for at least 90 seconds.
I cannot drink extracted juices because they raise blood sugar too much. Even with this soup I need to eat some protein with a 1-cup serving.

have lots of juicing reciepes…what are you looking for exactly?

Hi!

I am a juicer and have been a daily juicer for the past two years. My favorites are carrot celery (4 carrots, two celery stalks) carrot-apple (four carrots, one apple), and grapefruit apple. There is one that sounds gross but is really tasty that is also one of my favories (one sweet potato, one small beet, and three or four carrot). These recipes can be made in smaller versions, but I like to drink a great big glass.

I love juicing so my favorite recipes list goes on and on!! I have about four juicing books and am always looking for ways to spice things up.

I cannot say enough positive things about juicing. It has made me feel, and look, so much better!!

Sincerely,
