Do you have info on Fr. Richard McBrien?

Are you familiar with Fr. McBrien, who authored a book entitled “Catholicism”? If so, is this book sound as well as Fr. McBriens teachings? The reason why I ask is that for such a work (quite a thick volume), I have never seen it refernced.
