Do you have some info on Purgatory?

I personally am not a catholic, I belong more to the pentacostal school of thought but more importantly i am a christian as we all are. But i seek to understand some of the doctrines of the catholic faith that pentacostals and other reformed traditions do not share. Spesifically Purgatory. What is the biblical justification for the belief in purgatory? If there is no spesific verse, what is the justification that has been traditionally given? I do not seek to argue nor impose my doctoral beleifs on anyone of catholic faith, but merely i seek to understand where the belief comes from.
