Basically my question here is there any “merit” to the claims in the video. I would hate to have to research all the claims and literature brought up in the video, if someone already has I’d love to hear it. But I feel obligated to research this.

It is my understanding that the reference web site is run by a schismatic group that cannot be trusted to teach Catholic truths.
You would be much better served if you searched the Vatican web site and see what the Pope teaches first hand.
