Do you know anyone with covid-19?

Are the covid numbers declining in your area? What impact do the street protests have? Some news source reported a sudden increase of corona hospitalizations in one city with large protests.

My state WA has been steady on new cases for 50 days, though they trended down in my county and up in others.

I think it’s too early to see an uptick from the demonstrations. I also think the impact will not be significant since they are outside and many are wearing masks.

A co-worker’s grandmother died from it about six weeks ago. Now another co-worker’s mother is hospitalized with it and is in extremely grave condition.

UPDATE: My co-worker’s mother is doing much, much better. Looks like she’s going to survive.

UPDATE ON THE UPDATE:

Co-worker’s mother is out of the hospital and headed to rehab (albeit to a different rehab facility than the one where she caught Covid…)
