Do you know people who have spiritual gifts of the holy spirit?

What spiritual gifts have you recognized.

dann, why do you keep asking questions but never elaborate on them? Please provide some context and discussion.
 
If there were a way to like (and agree with) this ONE BILLION TIMES (and then some!) I’d do it.

Asking people not open ended questions that can lead to discussion, but basically ‘yes/no’ questions where quite obviously the OP thinks he ‘knows the right answer’ but almost never returns (under his own name, anyway) but just sits back and lets well-meaning (mostly) people share their beliefs, waiting for the inevitable disagreements and arguments, is a huge waste of space.

Of course there are so many different posters and so many forums that a lot of different people can come into a thread part way, a thread that looks like a legit discussion, and it can take a long time until enough people start to see the pattern, "Hey, wait, this character has asked other questions before but never really seemed to respond, and the threads either peter out, or get contentious. And then lo and behold, a day or two later and another similar sounding thread question opens up AGAIN.

I think we all have kind of guessed by now exactly what the ‘acceptable’ answer is to this, and other questions, according to the OP.
 
Thank you for asking this question. It really got me thinking. Do you know that I have never known somebody well who didn’t have at least one gift of the Holy Spirit? And this was regardless of whatever their religious beliefs or backgrounds were. I can’t think of one person who doesn’t. Sometimes you just have to look harder than you might otherwise, when you are looking for the good in people.
 
I think the OP asks decent discussion questions, but I too would like to know why he never responds, and why he asks so many such questions.
 
We are all given the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit. It’s up to us whether we embrace them and use them to nourish our Faith and Piety.
 
I believe I have received portions of them. But we all can use more, can’t we. Perhaps what you are asking is why do we not have more convincing experiences of the descent of the Holy Spirit upon us?
 
Yes . this is why I go to 2 different prayer group’s. As directed . and function in the gifts of healing. Revelation. Word of knowledge - word of wisdom… Tongues and interpretation.
One of my church buddies is jerry McDermott. A catholic.educated at Steuben vill Ohio. Who wrote a few books on amazon.
And been part of the Catholic charasmetic since the 60’s
