You should read the Overspent American…it talks precisely about that very thing. That back in the 50’s before microwaves, they were thought of as a luxury…and they were huge. Now, we expect them in our homes…built in over our stoves. We expect to have washers and dryers. We expect to have a tv, a dvd player…and the list goes on and on, depending on preferences.This thread is scary.
