Almost everywhere there is half the population that likes a President, and the half that didn’t vote him/her,dislike him/her. It is not uncommon.
Strong and not that strong feelings is not a reason to do away with the results of a democratic process of elections where people choose their presidents and representatives.
Ungovernability is another story. Not this one.
Perhaps you are very young…

If a bunch of people, most of whom you didn’t even know, told you they hated you, would you quit your job because of it?

Why or why not?

No, I do not like him as president (did not want HC, either), but he shouldn’t quit. He was duly elected, and he should remain in office and try to do the best job possible. If he needs to be removed from office, that it is up to the House to initiate proceedings.

There was a lot of hate directed at Jesus from the pharisees…and He didn’t quit his job. So, neither should anyone else quit just because of hatred.
I honestly didn’t vote for him (voted 3rd Party). But, the more he sticks around the more I like him. At least he’s been doing what he said he would. Whether I agree with him or not, I can’t call him a campaign-liar.

He changed his positions constantly on the campaign, and deflected when called out for dishonesty. Donald Trump is a master of appearing like he’s keeping his promises when in reality he is bucking on a good lot of them.

The economy is doing quite well now under Trump. Americans are better off now economically than they were under Obama. That is a good point for Trump. However, I do think that there is too much American intervention in the world.
Should Trump quit? He does seem to cause problems for himself with his tweets and off the cuff remarks, but I don’t know if it would be better for him to quit and take care of his various businesses.

I get what you are saying. One of the many reasons I didn’t vote for him was due to his non-answers to questions. “What do you have planned for [such-n-such]?” -“Oh, we’ve got a great plan, and it’s a really great plan…”. Um, yeah.
However, he did specifically say that he would decrease certain federal agencies and put that money into defense and verterans’ affairs. I happen to work for a certain federal agency that has been reduced. As much as I want to complain about doing more work for not much more pay, I have to admit that he kept his word there. While the rest of the GOV is on a hiring freeze, USAjobs has had no shortage of advertisements for VA and Dept, of Defense (until the recent furlough). As a federal employee, I’m not all that excited about this. But as tax payer, I think it’s a pretty darn good business decision.

He is doing a good job. Because democrats hate him. And democrats are deceived!!!

No worries, he is still running his businesses.

Besides, he is acting more and more like Nixon every day. This looks like it will be quite a show!

I actually thought running his businesses was against the law while president. But he can just have others take care of them, of course. He has a big organization.

You are right, He does appear to be more like Nixon every day. I think the lies are closing in. Nixon did do a good job of rehabilitating himself years after. I don’t think that’s going tp happen with Trump, no matter what happens.

Edit: Nixon seemed to want to save his job, Trump seems to want to lose his.

It is, but he does it anyway. He has spent as much as a third of his time in office patronizing his own businesses and dwellings, raking in the costs of entertaining others (doing presidential work of course!) and the cost of the Secret Service.
No I don’t think that would be appropriate.
No. No one should quite their job just because of haters.

I think the people directing their hate at
Donald Trump should find something more productive to do that benefits them and everyone else!

I think Donald Trump should find something better to do that benefits others. He’s done enough to benefit himself, and the power trip he’s on now is just for him, e.g., military parade (shades of Kim Jong-Un there), border wall, tax cuts for the rich, denigrating the entire FBI with no evidence, etc.
