Here is something that keeps bugging me. Ok when we die our soul leaves our body, Here is how im seeing it. Now after our soul leaves our body i figure we enter the next world. The Spirit world. Now the bible says on the last day we will be reunited with our body, God will raise the dead, reunite the spirit with the body right. Now it will be on the last day, so the world as we know it will end. Now there will be a new Heaven and new Earth right. Now here is how I see it, we will walk again on this earth, we will see all the dead, loved ones. There will never be any more death, suffering, or evil. Like it should have been until Adam and Eve sinned. That is all that makes sense to me. Because our Spirit has to have left our body to be reunited with it. And then Heaven will just be where Jesus is and we can see him whenever we want. Does that sound too crazy? Because if death is the final step from this world why would we need to be reunited with our bodies?

Hi rinnie! That’s a good question, although I don’t know if this is the right forum to post it…

🤷

Anyways, I have to point out that you already partially answered your own question:
Like it should have been until Adam and Eve sinned.
At the End of the Ages, our souls will be where it should have been all along: with our bodies, like Adam and Eve before they sinned. When we die at the state of grace, our souls go to Heaven, but we will long for the time when our souls will finally be united with our bodies. Because until then, we will not be complete.

And thus, actually, death is not the final step from this world. For when we die, we are immediately rewarded according to the state of grace we are in. This is called the particular judgement. According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
I. THE PARTICULAR JUDGMENT
1021 Death puts an end to human life as the time open to either accepting or rejecting the divine grace manifested in Christ. The New Testament speaks of judgment primarily in its aspect of the final encounter with Christ in his second coming, but also repeatedly affirms that each will be rewarded immediately after death in accordance with his works and faith. The parable of the poor man Lazarus and the words of Christ on the cross to the good thief, as well as other New Testament texts speak of a final destiny of the soul–a destiny which can be different for some and for others.
1022 Each man receives his eternal retribution in his immortal soul at the very moment of his death, in a particular judgment that refers his life to Christ: either entrance into the blessedness of heaven-through a purification or immediately – or immediate and everlasting damnation.
Code:
"At the evening of life, we shall be judged on our love."
But when the End of Ages comes, the resurrection of the dead happens. Then all people, living and dead, will be brought before God in the Last Judgement, and “all will be laid bare,” including the answer to your question 😃 Again from the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
V. THE LAST JUDGMENT
1038 The resurrection of all the dead, "of both the just and the unjust,"will precede the Last Judgment. This will be "the hour when all who are in the tombs will hear [the Son of man’s] voice and come forth, those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment."Then Christ will come “in his glory, and all the angels with him. . . . Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate them one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, and he will place the sheep at his right hand, but the goats at the left. . . . And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
1039 In the presence of Christ, who is Truth itself, the truth of each man’s relationship with God will be laid bare. The Last Judgment will reveal even to its furthest consequences the good each person has done or failed to do during his earthly life:
Code:
All that the wicked do is recorded, and they do not know. When "our God comes, he does not keep silence.". . . he will turn towards those at his left hand: . . . "I placed my poor little ones on earth for you. I as their head was seated in heaven at the right hand of my Father - but on earth my members were suffering, my members on earth were in need. If you gave anything to my members, what you gave would reach their Head. Would that you had known that my little ones were in need when I placed them on earth for you and appointed them your stewards to bring your good works into my treasury. But you have placed nothing in their hands; therefore you have found nothing in my presence."
1040 The Last Judgment will come when Christ returns in glory. Only the Father knows the day and the hour; only he determines the moment of its coming. Then through his Son Jesus Christ he will pronounce the final word on all history. We shall know the ultimate meaning of the whole work of creation and of the entire economy of salvation and understand the marvelous ways by which his Providence led everything towards its final end. The Last Judgment will reveal that God’s justice triumphs over all the injustices committed by his creatures and that God’s love is stronger than death.
And then, this world, this universe, will be perfected: a New Heaven and New Earth. Of course, we will have perfected bodies and souls by then, too.

Well, I guess that’s a good place to return to, ain’t it? 👍

So you are kind of seeing it like I do, that we will be back here, but this world will be brand new again. I see it like we will all be happy and at peace on this earth. Evil and the devil can no longer touch us. The only thing that confuses me is heaven, Is this going to be Heaven on Earth. Or will heaven still be another place apart from here but like a place to visit whenever we want. I have read and read it in the bible but cant figure it out.

Check out a book by Randy Alcorn called Heaven. It is protestant based, so careful discernment is recommended, but I found it a unique perspective of what Heaven may be like. Again, I don’t think you can hang your hat on it, but if you had to take a guess…🤷 👍

Yep!! Exactly 😃

Now, Heaven actually is more of a “state” rather than a place.

Again I will point to the Catechism of the Catholic Church. I will not quote the entire thing here, you can read it by following the link above.

Note what it says in paragraph 1044:
1044 In this new universe, the heavenly Jerusalem, God will have his dwelling among men. “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain any more, for the former things have passed away.”
Then read what is in paragraph 1024:
1024 This perfect life with the Most Holy Trinity - this communion of life and love with the Trinity, with the Virgin Mary, the angels and all the blessed - is called “heaven.” Heaven is the ultimate end and fulfillment of the deepest human longings, the state of supreme, definitive happiness.
Therefore, in the End of Ages, it will not just be Heaven on Earth. It will be a Heavenly Universe: the Kingdom of God, where God is with His creation. Wherever you go by then, when you are one of the resurrected saints, it will be Heaven

No offense but the earth is temporary so what’s the point of wishing to be back on it?

1044 *In this new universe, the heavenly Jerusalem, God will have his dwelling among men. “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain any more, for the former things have passed away.” *

The above passage is from the Book of Revelation. It one of the recommended readings for the Order of Christian Funerals (had to read it today at my friend’s son’s funeral); [Rev 21: 1, 3-5a].

It is notable that this passage concludes with: " The one who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’ "

My own take on rinnie’s question:

After the particular judgement, at the last judgement we receive, as nuntym said ,a perfected body. I like to refer to it as a “glorified body”. Just as our beloved Lord’s Resurrection is a promise of our own resurrection, so also his glorified Body is a promise of us receiving a glorified body.

To what extent we’ll be able to use it…we’ll be with God so 🤷 who knows. With his glorified body, our resurrected Lord could pass beyond locked doors [John 20:26-27] and still eat food also if he so wished [Luke 24: 41-43].

I like to remember that on this earth , everything we know, do and say is expressed in terms of time and space. Eternity does not have those limitations. At the final judgement, time as we know it will cease.

I heard a nun say once that in Heaven we can never stop growing in happiness because God is infinite so we will always be discovering Him.

Rather than try to figure Heaven out to some set of predetermined coordinates, I prefer to dare to dream. Why not…? They say it’s beyond our wildest dreams.
🙂

Alot of good responses, and thanks for your opinions, I really do think we are gonna be back here some day, i really do with everyone we love. Maybe thats the key, we will really learn what we did wrong here, and thats why it will be better. Think about it how many people say every day if I could go back and do it all again. Maybe Family, loved ones,. etc will be important again instead of stupid stuff, who knows. What would you give in dollars to have a special person in you life you lost for just One Hour? Or to be a better brother, sister, daughter, son. mother, father, etc. Maybe thats why its gonna be heaven on earth, everyone we love will be back here with us. Now that being rich! Maybe thats what God is telling us we were rich, and everytime we lose someone we love we become poor.
