Do you think you are set in your ways?

Do people ever tell you that
“No one can tell you anything”?

No, but I’m only 60 LOL. Age has nothing to do with it really. Everyone has certain routines they are comfortable with, but change is inevitable and embraced if it results in good.

No one has ever told me that. I am, however, set in my ways much of the time. I have never (not even when I was in my teens) been a person to adapt the latest fashion craze or the latest technology.

I was always that way, too, but I never thought I was set in my ways. I’ve never been stubborn. I just thought of myself as someone who was unique and her own person, not “one of the herd.”

I am a creature of habit, but I also like to keep things fresh. This means I like to switch up routines, etc. once I feel they are stale. However, my approach in “freshening” is usually the same…using the same methods to make decisions…etc. So in that way, I guess I could be considered stuck in my ways. I prefer to call it “consistency”. Somehow, it just sounds better. 🙂

Someone told my dad I am always the same .I kinda hope that what you see is what you get,so if that means set in your ways then it would be a good thing.I am a bit of a chameleon though and can adapt to new environments .

Yes, I tend to be set in my ways but I know that I am called to be transformed in Christ so I’m working on being flexible in certain areas.

No, I’ve never been told that no one can tell me anything - most who know me know better than to cross me 😉

Nope. I’m so ADHD that everything is always new and… SQUIRREL!

In some ways, not only am I set in my ways, NO ONE is going to change my mind about them. Others, I am always willing to listen and learn.

In certain things, yes. But I’m open to constructive criticism. My first reaction may be to resist, but after the intiital kneejerk, I can usually see where a change in behavior/attitude might be warranted.
