Do you worry about drinking from the chalice?

Wine/alcohol has been used for years as a disinfectant. That prevents most germs. Also, I simply want to partake in the precious blood.

Alcohol is not considered to have germ killing properties unless the minimum effective concentration is at least 60% (according to the CDC). We most likely don’t get sick from His blood because our digestive system breaks it down rapidly.
