Yeah, sorry, I’m a long-time Whovian and I’ve gotta say that Rose is the best companion ever. Well, okay, it’s between her and Sarah. I do like Martha, though.

I’m a newbie when it comes to the show/mythos - I don’t even know who Sarah is The only ones I’m familiar with are Rose and Martha (and Captain Jack, who I adore
So that probably explains it. Also, Billie Piper is one of the few people in showbiz that I absolutely cannot stand. My DH gets very upset that I don’t see all the Rose Goodness everyone else does, and keeps trying to convert me

I love youtube just for old episodes, specials and all sorts of Doctor Who clips. Last month I was thrilled to find the Children in Need mini-special. I know most British are not thrilled with Catherine Tate as the new companion, but when I saw the skit she and David Tennant did for Comic Relief I was laughing out loud. I loved on the Runaway Bride how they both burst out laughing as they were riding the Segways.

Sarah Jane Smith was a long time companion back in the 1970’s with the 3rd and 4th Doctors. She was very popular and most recently returned to appear in the the second season epsiode School Reunion where she meets the 10th Doctor and Rose (I think it was mentioned in an earlier post). This causes some tension between the two over who is/was the better or closer companion to the Doctor, Sarah or Rose. But they come to an understanding.

I FINALLY got around to watching “Blink” last night. It’s been sitting in my DVR since it aired. That was probably the best episode of the season. I made the mistake of watching it late after DH was in bed. I went to bed half expecting to look over my shoulder and see a statue!
