Does anyone know of a good site where I could find a list of Catholic Doctrines and dogma?

I know Doctrines and dogma never change but people keep asking me to list a few and I’m at lost to name more than 4 or 5.

Thank you for all your help.

God Bless

Best to go straight to the horse’s mouth, the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The Church is wary of giving a list, perhaps because each teaching if understood in its context is less open to being misunderstood or even misused. So it’s a fat book, but every teaching will be in there.

Catechisms are aids to teachers, and tend to give just the conclusions of theology–theology being all the long reasonings about god-related subjects which has gone on down through the centuries, filtered through the popes and councils. The newly promulgated Catechism includes more of the background reasoning to the conclusions than the older, more compact catechisms.

A good book to get would be “Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma” by Dr. Ludwig Ott. It lists the teachings of our Church in bold print and gives the degree of theological certainty. It’s being put on line, but is not yet complete.

You can go to the site and sample what the book is like. It is one of the best buys I’ve ever made.
