Once again you define church differently than the Scriptures making it difficult to discuss because we are not even talking about the same thing.
Ok, so you define Church as all who believe in Jesus. Fair enough. Who am I to deny:
Joh 6:45 It has been written in the Prophets, They “shall” all “be taught of God.” So then everyone who hears and learns from the Father comes to Me; Isa. 54:13
How I define Church is how its been defined since the beginning and that does include all believers. Why do you presume to know how I define anything when you haven’t even asked?
What I think your denying is a departing from the sound doctrine of the Apostles Saint Paul Speaks of and where they have led the Church which I conceed does include those who by no fault of their own are outside of it.
1Ti 4:16 Give attention to yourself and to the doctrine;
continue in them, for doing this, you will both deliver yourself and those hearing you.
2Ti 3:10 But you have closely followed my doctrine, the conduct, the purpose, the faith, the long-suffering, the love, the patient endurance,
Where is your love and humility by coming here insisting your doctrine over that of the ancient Church? You may have valid points but what do you conceed? You seem even unwilling to repent of your own dishonesty.
2Ti 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
This is why Jesus himself trained the apostles correctly. He didn’t speak so each man could form his own interpretation of what He meant and then obstinately use it against those who He left to guide us. It must be taken into consideration with those who walked with Him and then with those who they taught as successors.
To many people are picking up the scriptures and forming there own ill opinions that are contrary to what the writers accually meant. Just as you did in the previous post. Cannot you see how this is a lack of humility and pridefully disordered to how Jesus himself taught the 12 and then sent them out to teach in His name? Even Saint Paul refered to the apostles as did the writers of Luke and Mark, all of whom did not personally know Jesus but did know the apostles yet are still considered inspired writings through the Holy Spirit they came in contact with in the Church.
Also, you over-state your authority to as to who can receive the bread of life. You cannot claim to know all that God is doing. (Luke 9:49)
I claim no authority, the authority that I purport to you comes straight from Jesus mouth.
Joh 6:53 Then Jesus said to them,
Truly, truly, I say to you, Except you eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His blood, you do not have life in yourselves.
Joh 6:54 The one partaking of My flesh and drinking of My blood has everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
Joh 6:55 For My flesh is truly food, and My blood is truly drink.
Joh 6:56 The one partaking of My flesh and drinking of My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
Joh 6:57 Even as the living Father sent Me, and I live through the Father; also the one partaking Me, even that one will live through Me.
Joh 6:60 Then many of His disciples having heard, they said, This Word is hard; who is able to hear it?
Joh 6:61 But knowing in Himself that His disciples were murmuring about this, Jesus said to them, Does this offend you?
What I think you need to ask yourself is if by refusing to recieve Jesus this following scripture (at least in part) applies to you:
Joh 6:66 From this time many of His disciples went away into the things behind, and no longer walked with Him.
I have made many irenic posts to you about Scripture through this whole thread that you apparently didn’t even take the time to consider because you never replied to them. Are you so proud you have no ear to hear anthing beyond your own conception of what is truth?
Peace.
