Does a Lutheran blessing equal Last Rites?

My mother did not receive Last Rites before she died. She was unconscious. At the time I was a non-practicing Catholic but my husband was a practicing Lutheran so his pastor blessed her. Was this enough for her to be forgiven her sins?

A Lutheran pastor would not be considered validly ordained and therefore cannot absolve sins. If your mother was a practicing Catholic who would have desired to receive the Last Rites should she have been able to request them, then God would obviously take into account her desire to receive the Last Rites and that she did not receive them through no fault of her own.
