IF there is a huge age difference I would wait until the younger is at least in their mid 20’s if not very close to it.
There are some mature late teens, but I would think that is rare. And life for a HS or college student is far different than someone out working and making a living.
Marriage is too important to jump right into it especially if someone is very young. Life during our Blessed Mother’s time was far different than today. Besides she was made to become the Mother of God even before she was born.
2000 years ago, a teenager was considered an adult and IF you lived to 40 or 50 you were very, very lucky. Today, a teenager is still considered a youngster and more than likely to live until age 70 or 80.
