Does any of you keep a private diary just like St Faustina?

For example, do you write down your daily experiences with God regardless if they are good or bad? If you do, did you do it online or on traditional pen and paper method?

“Just like” St. Faustina? No. Jesus does not speak to me directly like He spoke to her.

I do keep three physical journals (pen and paper), though: one for a brief recap of my day, one for prayer intentions, and one for general spiritual stuff (faith-related things that happen to me, notes regarding conversations I have with priests, thoughts that cross my mind, the results of the meetings with my spiritual director when I have one, etc.)

In our über-connected world, I would never, ever, ever put any of this on digital media. It’s between me and the Lord.

I am an ex-professional in the industry. There is no such thing as “private” mode. Anything — anything — can be hacked.

Same here. I do keep a journal, written longhand in spiral notebooks, but oftentimes weeks will pass without an entry. It’s more like a record of life’s major milestones, and not so much the everyday little events.

I am annoyed, though, that since I write in longhand so infrequently now my printing is becoming less legible.

It’s not a compulsory school work that you have to hand in on time. Lol!

And that is why I suggest entering into online diaries. It’s cleaner instead of using correction fluid plus the diary will never be lost unlike your notebook which could be misplaced.

I dont think anybody is interested in knowing someone’s life story unless its a stalker who is crazy about you.
