Hi. I like watching EWTN, I’m considering donating but I would love to know how many people watch the network. Does anybody have any info??

i watch EWTN

some of their programs are, frankly, a little stale

i have no info about the network’s ratings

probably they are pretty low

but devoted catholics watch

i think the network currently has a cash flow problem

mail them what you can afford to

you won’t regret it…

I watch EWTN quite a bit but not 24/7. In fact, EWTN is the reason I originally got cable TV. I like Journey Home, Nightly News, Dr. Ray, World Over, and lately I’ve started watching or listening to the daily rosary. I know some older parishioners here who would never miss the daily Mass on EWTN.

Of course, my other favorite is C-Span Book TV!

I “stumbled across” EWTN several months ago when I was put on temporary disability for a head injury. I had been praying “God, lead me to the TRUTH”, as I am a Methodist really struggling with the inconsistencies in teaching scripture and lack of love in the denomination (my personal experience). I made 2 friends at my job who are Catholic & then having to leave that job and be home bound now for 8 months- I was so HAPPY to find EWTN! I KNOW I’ve found the TRUTH. YES- support EWTN, I believe they are doing God’s work!

I visited EWTN last year and took the studio tour and saw the Shrine. As far as I could tell they were doing quite well and were expanding the studios and office areas.

I think its true they have never been able to fill the “Mother Angelica Gap” and who could? They still have a few very great personalities such as Fr. Pacwa but I think they are still looking for the next Fulton Sheen or Mother Angelica kind of show that will carry them forward.

Will they ever find one? Who knows but I hope so and love EWTN regardless.

Nightly News,
I like their news shows. They’re conservative but not blindly so. Also, with just a 30 minute time slot they have a good balance of news and interviews.
