I discovered this channel for about a month now and loving it.I used to watch CNN and FNC on primetime, but no longer.I love watching expanded global news ,not just domestic ,CCTV on 2119 ,DTV covers both.Furthermore, they dont have ADs ,in general.I would like to watch RT or other Global news channel, but they are not featured on DTV.Any thoughts?

CCTV? Central Chinese Television? I think it’s propaganda. Then there is RT which is pure propaganda too. The best was when this woman on Break The Set had Oliver Stone and some other leftist trying to justify the poor old USSR and how nasty USA was to the poor, ‘peaceful’ Soviets. RT is however good in that it sometimes covers stories other news services the likes of BBC, CNN, SKY, etc fail to do, especially during special occasions such as the birth of the new British royal baby and the hype that followed that.

I dont think the channel is propaganda purposes .Their anchors are of diverse ethnicities i .e. American Caucasians,Indian,Latinos,Filipino,Chinese et al .Their correpondents include Japanese,Africans,Europeans.Though majority of them comprise of Chinese Americans and native Chinese.I missed the Canadian World Channel. It is not on DTV line up anymore.
