With Obamacare coming soon, I’ve been looking for a Catholic Healthcare sharing ministry, similar to “Medishare”. Last year I heard of one that was supposed to open up, but now the website for it is not available. Has anyone heard of any starting up soon?

Why wouldn’t you join Medi Share?
I had this question too.

I know it is set up as Evangelicals primarily, but I doubt they check cards at the door. If they make you sign that you agree with their statement if faith I suppose that can be an issue (bible alone, faith alone).

Worth looking into though.

EDIT I JUST LOOKED INTO IT

you are required to affirm their statement of faith. In reading it though it is pretty generic and I do not see anything that would contradict the catholic faith.
Christian Care Ministry is committed to serving the Christian community with excellence and integrity, using the Bible as our foundation.
In order to maintain these principles, any participant of the programs offered by Christian Care Ministry–Medi-Share, Manna, Restore, or Healthy Church–must agree to and profess the following “Statement of Faith.”
We believe…that there is one God eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe…that the Bible is God’s written revelation to man and that it is verbally inspired, authoritative, and without error.
We believe…in the deity of Jesus Christ—His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death on the cross to provide for our redemption, bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven, present ministry of intercession for us, and His return to earth in power and glory.
We believe…in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit, that He performs the miracle of new birth in an unbeliever and indwells believers, enabling them to live a godly life.
We believe…that man was created in the image of God, but because of sin was alienated from God. Alienation can be removed by accepting God’s gift of salvation by grace through faith (Eph 2:8-10) which was made possible by Christ’s death and resurrection. This faith will be evidenced by the works that we do (James 2:17).
