There is a St Samuel the Confessor, venerated in the Coptic and Oriental Churches.
There is also a St Samuel who visited Christians in the mines in Cilicia and died under Maximus, venerated in the Universal Church.
A Bl. Samuel Marzorati was a Franciscan known for his piety.
There is also a St Samuel of Edessa, of which little is known, but whose work was published against the Nestorian debate.
Your greatest ally (as already mentioned) would be St Samuel the Prophet (or Seer) - of the Books of Samuel. He is an Old Testament saint (which do exist).
You’re good to go, OP.
