Does anyone know the meaning?

I need anyone who knows what the Catholic view is on this scripture…Hebrews 10:26 -What does it mean?I’m scared that I have willfully sinned,because I have done things over and over knowing they were wrong.If anyone knows what The Church believes on this please share with me.

It means that eternal punishment awaits those Christians who commit mortal sins and remain unrepentant til the day they die. There are three things that must be present for a sin to be a mortal sin: serious matter, full knowledge, and free consent. If any of these is lacking, the sin is not mortal. Christians who repent of their mortal sins can be reconciled to God and his Church in the Sacrament of Confession.

I do not want to talk you out of your fear, because it may well be a grace from God, awakening you to the need to change.

CCC #1453 The contrition called “imperfect” ( or “attrition”) is also a gift of God, a prompting of the Holy Spirit. It is born of the consideration of sin’s ugliness or the fear of eternal damnation and the other penalties threatening the sinner (contrition of fear). Such a stirring of conscience can initiate an interior process which, under the prompting of grace, will be brought to completion by sacramental absolution. By itself however, imperfect contrition cannot obtain the forgiveness of grave sins, but it disposes one to obtain forgiveness in the sacrament of Penance.

Thank you very much you guys.I’ve had alot of trouble with this verse.I have a catechism coming in the mail,it should arive shortly sometime this week probably.So,I will look at your recommended spots.It’s very scary to take that verse literally because I know that there are sins that I have commited knowing they were wrong.Thank you for all ya’lls help.God bless.
