or heard of a person by the name of MILES J. STANFORD? My brother being a protestant, seems to really follow his teachings. I would appreciate any information about him ie. is he a baptist, evangelical etc. What are some of the tenants of his belief?

Don’t know much about him but you can google his name and get lots of information. You can also search on wikipedia.

From what I could tell in a short time he seemed to be anti-Catholic and anti-Jewish. I would be very careful in reading him and make sure I had a good understanding of my faith and was ready to answer or at least knew where to find answers to questions that would arise from his writtings. He is most definately anti-Penticostal and anti-charismatic.

I knew that name seemed familuar. I had a few relatives that liked his “green Letter” writings. He was (deceased now) what I would classify as an extreme fundamentalist. TBH I found them to be hateful. But it would not be fair to paint everyone who share those beliefs with the same brush stroke.

Out of curiosity I looked up a few of the statements of the couple who have continued his mission. This small quote to me says a thousand words:

“Warn a heretic once, and then once more. After that, don’t have anything else to do with them. You know that their minds are twisted…”
