Yes, I own it and also own/read the Peshitta in Syriac. Lamsa’s translation introduces a lot of novelties at best. It’s not a good translation in general.

The Lamsa translation is heavily flawed due to George Lamsa’'s connection with Victor Paul Wierwille and “the Way International” cult. wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Way_International

Is there a good translation of the entire Peshitta out there? I know of the Murdock New Testament, but what about the Old Testament?Yes, I own it and also own/read the Peshitta in Syriac. Lamsa’s translation introduces a lot of novelties at best. It’s not a good translation in general.
Also, out of curiosity, what are some of the novelties?

There is a usable Syriac to Malayalam translation by the late Very Rev Rīsh Corepiscopo Kaniyamparambil of the Syriac Orthodox Church… he worked with the head of SEERI in Kottayam, Rev. Fr. Jacob Thekkeparambil of the Malankara Syrian Catholic Church. Maybe Fr. Jacob has access to an English copy or knows where to find an accurate one. I hope to see him this wknd and will let you know what he says.

A good translation of the entire Peshitta? Depends what language you read. I have a good Latin translation of the Peshitta. English? Not so much. The Antioch Bible is decent, save its attempt to include semi-inclusive language, but it costs a fortune and I would have never bothered to get it if it hadn’t been gifted to me (what’s nice about it is it’s divided by books and has bilinear Syriac/English with introductions).Is there a good translation of the entire Peshitta out there?
