Does God have everything under control even though we all believe it’s haphazard? In other words, does our world have a well planned out destiny where not much is left to chance?

Yes, our Creator does have a plan, and that plan is to allow mankind to learn His commandment, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” the hard way which will be by enduring the ravages of a global nuclear war.
 
Yes. God has a plan for the world and for us. God is very deliberate. He doesn’t do something for no reason.
