Does listening to prayer constitute praying?

so for advent i made goal of praying the divine office. i have a phone app that has the divine office on it with audio everyday. so since i work full time during the times of prayer i turn on the app and listen to it as i cannot read along with it. is this still considered prayer, i find it at the very least more fullfilling/calming then say listening to the a local radio station. i am just not sure if i can say it is considered praying.

Sure it is–at least to some extent. Besides, you can join in and say the doxology at the ends of the psalms.
