My wife and I are former Protestants converting to Catholicism this Easter. She was baptized at the time of our marriage, while I will be baptized at the Easter Vigil. Is our marriage currently recognized by the Church, and will it need to be convalidated when we are accepted into the Church? Thank you.

Hi,

No, you do not need to convalidate your marriage. The Catholic Church recognizes marriages between non-Catholics as valid. Welcome home!
