A question I have thought about for a while…
The three conditions for a sin to be mortal:
Or what if one believes that a sin is of grave matter before committing it, and then does so anyway, while it turns out the sin was not of grave matter?
Lastly… how does one determine grave matter? For the scrupulous minded, any conscious decision to sin against God is a grave matter… How do you know when something is grave or not?
