Does sin hurt God now?

It’s been about two thousand years since Jesus walked this earth. I know he suffered a lot on the cross, but that was so long ago. Do our sins today still hurt God? I truly love God and I don’t want to hurt him!!! Do our sins today affect Jesus’ sufferings so long ago? Any thoughts on this? Thank You!!!

The Most Holy Trinity deserves our love but mortal sin destroys the friendship that one has in the state of grace. The Most Holy Trinity desires all to be partakers in the divine nature, for which purpose the Son of God assumed a human nature and we have the gifts of the sacraments. God has foreknowledge that some will freely choose to not be friends, yet permits free will anyway, but this is a a timeless knowledge.
