Does someone like Jack Chick scare you as much as he does me?

Even Jesus told Peter , " Get behind me Satan". That is no scarier than a Chick moment. As far as ancient Egyptian priests also having a sort of transubstantiated wafer, it seems to be true. It is also true that many pagan traditions were “christianized” thru out the ages. Is transubstantiation one of them, from a combination of Egypt and Greek thought ? Apparently Chick thinks so ,and many others. Is that guilt by association ? If I were Catholic I would say so. Is that a case of Satan having foreknowledge of the “Remembrance” and imitated it ? Perhaps, for we know he is an angel of light and likes to imitate truth, right up to 99.9% if he can. Just not sure Satan has foreknowledge, unless being told directly from God (like in the Garden of Eden). As to the rest he seems off as to the deaths incurred or anathema meaning death like the OT. So, he is in your face but I would say he has very strong convictions and to some over the top, but the staus quo has a way of numbing the Truth that is in the battle. LIke is he too much or am I lukewarm or a bit of both ?

You lost me on the Satan part.

I remember that one, too. I remember thinking even as a kid, before I even thought about being Catholic — if the Vatican does in fact have a huge computer able to keep track of worldwide church membership, wouldn’t it just be easier to keep track of who all the Catholics are, and then extrapolate from whoever isn’t on your list that those people aren’t Catholic?
 
I would think his output has diminished greatly with the declining population of phone booths. Hopefully they won’t start leaving them at redbox

I don’t know if I’m misremembering this tract or something else I read/heard, but that big computer at the Vatican was to store our confessions to keep us controlled or so we could be blackmailed later into doing the dirty work of the Vatican. :eek:

If the world were to end in a giant war and you were the only one left alive. You could go to the gym and you will find two things there. Someone, using the locker next to yours and a chick tract in your locker.

The first chick tract I ever saw was in my locker. And, since there are still lockers at school, there is still somewhere someone can stick it.

I don’t think there is really any other types of work the Vatican would want anyone to do.👍

Actually I’m pretty sure it’s used to store the names and addresses of Protestants for a future persecution…
