What term? Whichever word to which you are referring, I cannot say, since I am not that famiilar with LDS. Jesus is a priest after the order of Melchizedech, and all those joined to HIm in priesthood are as well.
Forgive me, I was mistaken. I had just never heard the term “Melchizedek priesthood” outside of an LDS context

My Source is the book of Hebrews. 😉

"So also Christ did not glorify Himself so as to become a high priest, but He who said to Him, “YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU”; 6just as He says also in another passage, “YOU ARE A PRIEST FOREVER ACCORDING TO THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK.” Heb. 56
