Does the bread and wine of the Eucharist contain DNA?

I was recently asked this by a protestant friend if the bread and wine of the Eucharist contain Jesus’ DNA, while I could explain that the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Our Lord are present under the species of bread and wine, I wasn’t too sure about DNA.
 
Hi,

There is no physical evidence that the bread and wine become the body of blood of the Lord. It has always been a matter of faith since the time of the Apostles. The change that takes place does not affect the appearances in ANY way, including the DNA. There simply is no way to prove or disprove the change that takes place from physical evidence.
