Does the Church accept the Marian Apparitions of Zeitun?

I recently found this apparition that allegedly was present on numerous occasions in the late 1960s above St. Marks Coptic Church. I’ve heard it led to many conversions. I know the Pope of the Coptic Church of Alexandria accepted it but does Rome view it as worthy of belief?

Accepted and affirmed by the Coptic Pope (not in communion with the Roman Pope) but it has stalled in the Roman Church:

The apparitions were confirmed by the Jesuit Father Dr. Henry Ayrout. Nuns of the Society of the Sacred Heart also witnessed the phenomenon and sent a detailed report to the Vatican, resulting in the arrival of an envoy on April 28 who also saw the apparitions and sent a report to Pope Paul VI.

It seems Bl Paul VI passed away before he ruled on the report, and subsequent Pontiffs have simply not continued the investigation.

I personally believe it, and the approval of Saint Pope Cyril VI is good enough for me.

Yah from what I’ve read the Vatican left it up to the Coptic Church to make a decision on it. Which is interesting. It’s almost like saying hey if you think it’s worthy for belief it’s good enough for us.
