Does the Church frown upon the use of birth control in general or merely as a contraceptive?

Does the Church frown upon the use of birth control in general or merely as a contraceptive? Does the Church not agree with the use of birthcontrol to regulate a women’s menstrual cycle. I am curious being a teenager on birthcontrol which I find is very helpful in regulating and I only use it for period regulating purposes (I am chaste) and I am wondering what the church’s opinion is on this. Thank you for your help
