Does the number of a committed sin make it worse?

i would imagine yes

just think about it this way who did a worse act more evil act

Hitler who murdered millions of jews

some guy in the city you live in who murdered his wife for some reason.
 
Short answer: yes. The number of times you commit a sin makes your heart harder and harder each time. The gravity of the crime goes up, and the alienation from God is stronger. The number of other souls that you have affected aversely widens like ripples in a pond and you run the very real risk of becoming hardened in sin and unrepentant even up to the day of your death.
 
What about the couples who are living in adulterous marriages, is it worst for them every time they have relations?

Yes!

(one reason we need to confess all mortal sins in number and kind (and circumstance that changes the sin…like it was my brother I murdered)
