The problem of other minds is the assertion that we cannot be certain that the people we interact with have a conscious, thinking, individual, mind. (Since we cant “look into” their minds)

But then again, in order to have the thought of “I cant be certain other minds exist.”, we are presupposing language has objective meaning. The words ‘I’, ‘cant’, ‘be’, ‘certain’, ‘other’, ‘minds’, ‘exist’ are all words we presuppose have objective meaning.

We learned these words from, what we believed at the time, other conscious beings.

Therefore, presupposing the truth of those words in a thought is presupposing the truth other minds exist since we are using words we believe were taught to us by them.

There’s a major difference between the Noumenae of our Minds…
and the Language intended to convey it…

Our Reason assists us in Knowing…

And it requires at least of skosh of an Actual Quality - Trust… Faith…

Rather than that of Endless Doubt…

Language is a symbolic manifestation of intellectual activity.
It’s proof of objective information and intellectual activity existing outside our heads because we didn’t create the information or design the relationships between the meaning and their symbolic representation.

But, we still cannot be certain that the apparent existence of any particular mind really exists. We can only have a general certainty that we are not the only mind.

We have self-evident certainty that other minds exist

How do you define “particular mind” ?

How do you define “particular mind” ?
When we meet a particular individual being that produces rational or intelligent information, we are inclined to view that being as having a distinct autonomous mind.

However, it could be possible that the intelligent information is coming from some where else. It could be that what appears to be a distinct mind is being programmed or caused to produce intelligent information which only makes it seem as if it has a distinct autonomous mind.

This means that we cannot have certain knowledge of particular minds and can only have certainty that we are not the only mind. In fact we cannot be certain that what we perceived with our minds isn’t just information being somehow beamed into our minds. However, it is reasonable to assume that how things appear to us is exactly how they really are.

Lets just say that it is a reasonable faith to think that every individual we meet has a distinct autonomous mind because that’s what it looks like.

Words (in the common sense) don’t have objective meaning. English is a made up language. Spanish is a made up language. Mandarin is a made up language. The words have no meaning in themselves and by themselves. They only have meaning insofar as we use them as “signs” for our concepts.

Since they do… Why bother to wonder otherwise? Wouldn’t that make Survival difficult?
