Hi everyone,

My title might sound really silly and confusing. Honestly i don’t know what I’m looking for because I’m so lost in trying to understand how God’s speaks to me. Maybe I know but I doubt too much. I would like for you all to take the time to read my experience and let me know what you think if this might be God leading me.

At my current job I have been unhappy and thinking about moving or exchange career. This crossed to my mind a lot. I have prayed about it and asked God to make the decision on what I should do. Months go by, the desire of wanting to resign was still there however I was unsure of what to do.

Then one company contacted me informing that they had a position became available and invited me if I was interested for an interview. I thought about it at night and decided not to go along with it. I was completely sure to not make the move for couple of reasons. Then in the morning all of a sudden as soon as I opened my eyes I thought about the opportunity and decided to call my manager took a day off and went to have the interview that morning. I prayed the Our Father and Hail Mary asking God to give me the sign if it was his will. The interview went great, the manager is really interested and offered me a salary above award more than what I was getting, issue was with parking cost and it’s sorted for the company is willing to pay it for me, had dramas with collecting references but it went through and I signed the contract, the company seems to be a better fit for me and offered me flexibility that my old job wasn’t able to give. I’m sure this comes from God because everything that I’m getting is such a coincidence and perfectly fit my needs however I doubt that it might not be his will but listening to my own. Let me know what you think. Thank you.

You asked God to help you find a new job and you got an offer you did not seek. You struggled with going to interview, but you went. You were offered the job, despite dragging your feet. Honestly, how much clearer can it be? God is not going to send you an email saying yes, this is from me! He sent to a new job, you should only be thanking him, not questioning if he gave this opportunity to you! Be happy for this and move forward! 🙂

Consider this story I took from a different post by @TheLittleLady:

“ There was a man who lived beside a river.

The news reporter came on and said “everyone who lives by the river needs to evacuate! There is a dangerous flood!”

The man said “I am waiting for God to answer my prayer”

The river rose, soon the water was up to the windows. A rescue boat came by and said “Get in the boat! The flood is dangerous!!”

The man said “I am waiting for God to answer my prayer”.

Soon the river covered all but the roof of the house. The man stood on his roof, a helicopter came by and dropped a rope shouting “climb up! The flood is deadly!!”

The man said “I am waiting for God to answer my prayer”.

The man drowned and went to heaven.

God said “why are you here?”

The man said “I was waiting for you to answer my prayer!”

God said “I sent you a news reporter, a boat and a helicopter, what more do you want?”

You have the job, what do you give back to God? I think you will know it was God’s plan if you feel inspired to do something or change in some way.

Thank you very much! I am full of doubt even when the message is very clear. I sometimes don’t know how to stop doubting him. I know that a continues doubting can be sinful.

Jim is driving round for hours looking for a parking space, in desperation he prays to God, if you find me a parking space, I will come back to church.
Two seconds later there is a parking space, Jim says forget my prayer, I have found somewhere to park.

It’s all been said. You have said nothing negative about the new job. If it is all as you said, take the job!

And thank God for helping you! God Bless!
