Does your faith have any influence on the words you speak? In other words, are you conscious of your words and what you engage in conversation about? I don’t mean speaking about the Bible or Catholicism per se, but rather simple ways to have wholesome, honest conversation rather than purposeless and self-centered talk?

Yes I do. I’d like to think it is to the stage of being unconsciously competent in conversing with others. It may be just the result of someone taking their faith deeply to heart and how it affects their life. Sounds mushy, I know, but that’s what I believe.

Sometimes, I write like Saint Paul although I don’t want to. But yeah, faith does influence my words and all my responses to everybody.

This is something I’m really working on. I’m slowly cutting negative people out of my life and working on being positive. That’s something that is easier said than done especially when the other people have no clue about it. I’m also working on being more “Christ centered” in my thinking and actions.

Yes, I’ve definitely changed. I’m far from perfect, but I watch what I say and how I respond to others. My biggest success has been my reduction in criticism of others. It’s made family life much better, and others have followed my lead. I try to be positive as much as I can. When I am critical of something, I try not to make it personal. I’m a work in progress.

Absolutely ,catholic defines who I am .I do slip up sometimes ,but it want everything I say count.

I think the suffering I’ve experienced, which made my realize faith is all i have, made me more sympathetic

So I think influences how I speak and interact with others
Which also helps me a good friend
