Please tell us what you do and how many men and women joined religious life?
My former parish have 2 young men ordained to the priesthood priest in the last few years. My former parish had a very active vocation ministry. We had a chalice for vocations. Adoration for vocations and Called by name every few years. Any Serrans out there?

I think every religious congregation have their own vocation promoter.

I started a parish vocations committee at our parish in St Joseph, Missouri. There was a discernment retreat for the diocesan priesthood, and our parish sent 10 of the 15 attendees. My family moved, so I don’t know if anyone ever entered the priesthood or religious life.

My main site has a page dedicated to parish vocations committees. I have another page dealing with discerning “contiguously”. Now that I’ve learned about ecclesial provinces, I would add “provincially” to that. Please click the first link to find this information.

Blessings,

Our community has had 7 men and women enter the seminary or religious life in the last 5 years. Our family always gifts them with a book they are required to bring (catechisms, Liber, Missals, etc.) As a community, we just tend to give them a going away party, but people are really generous in helping them purchase any required items.
